Elementary Parent Project (EPP)
Currently seeking Program Director
The EPP holds seminars with elementary school parents across the Southern California area. Teachers and/or principals from elementary schools can invite EPP speakers to a parent group (such as Parent Teachers Association meetings). Leaders of parent groups outside of the school setting can also invite EPP speakers to their parent group. Seminars are conducted in a manner to engage parents, focusing heavily on interactive discussions.
- Aid to parents of mixed race elementary age children
- How to advocate for your child’s racial identity and affirm their identity exploration.
- Gain insight into what multiracial children may face during elementary school.
- Answer questions parents may have regarding rearing mixed race children.
