Last Sunday was Loving Day and MASC held a wonderful party at Hyperion Public in Studio City. Jason George from Grey’s Anatomy was there as well as a film crew to collect stories from interracial couples about what the Loving Decision meant to them. Both young adults and families shared good food, “Loving cocktails,” games, and friendships. Even regular patrons stopped by to join in our festivities. Mixed Marrow was also present serving the multiracial community’s health interests. Special thanks to Hyperion Public for allowing us a place to celebrate.
The night before, Saturday, MASC was a community partner in a community building anti-racism workshop Circles of Voices. We have high hopes for this growing event.
