5/23/11 Of Many Colors: Portraits of Multiracial Families
The Multiracial Americans of Southern California (MASC) and UCLA’s Mixed Student Union are pleased Of Many Colors!
Exhibit Description
Of Many Colors includes photographs and interviews with 20 families (children, teens, and adults) who have bridged the racial divide through interracial relationships and/or adoption. In a world where race is considered by many to be a formidable barrier between people, the families in this traveling exhibit have discovered richness and value in diversity. This exhibit of multiracial families has a great deal to teach about racial identity and racism.
The exhibit will be on view from May 23rd to May 27th, 2011 at the University of California, Los Angeles Kerkoff Art Gallery. Free and open to the public.
