Adoptee Day with the LA Dodgers will feature the ceremonial First Pitch thrown out by an adoptee herself, Patti Stanger, who is most widely known as the star and executive producer of Bravo’s hit docu-series The Millionaire Matchmaker. “I am so excited to throw out the First Pitch for Adoptee Day with the LA Dodgers,” stated Patti Stanger. “It is so important to educate people about all of the issues that adoptees may face growing up and knowing there are resources out there. I look forward to partnering with the Mixed Roots Foundation to help raise money and awareness for all adoptees and their families. I hope that Adoptee Day will bring a message of hope and unity – Go Dodgers!”
Mixed Roots Foundation’s community sponsors for Adoptee Day with the LA Dodgers include Hertz and Spokeo. The local community partners benefiting from a portion of all Adoptee Day ticket sales include Celia Center, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) – Los Angeles, and Multiracial Americans of Southern California (MASC) all who provide important post-adoption resources to adoptees and families in the southern California area.
