Teen Mentor Project  
 

The goal of the Teen Mentor Project (TMP) is to develop a fully functioning mentorship program on a high school campus where multiracial high school students mentor other multiracial students and are involved in school-wide improvement of racial relations. The purpose of this is to

Increase racial harmony on high school campuses.

Increase awareness of racial prejudice in both monoracial and multiracial  populations.

Decrease difficulties associated with multiracial identity development

Project Updates

11/15/06: MASC has been selected as the recipient of a grant from the K&F Baxter Family Foundation. This money will go to help support our activities as part of the Teen Mentor Project.

2/15/06: We are currently looking for high school teachers who are interested in starting a multiracial club. If you fit this description, please contact the Project Director: jenn.noble@mascsite.org.
