MASC’s Annual Picnic was a success!
Thank you to all the families, couples, and individuals who came out to our picnic on 8/17 at Del Rey Lagoon. We had a good time catching up with members, and meeting new people! We shared delicious food, refreshing drinks, a beautiful spot by the lagoon, and laughs during our entertainment and games. Special shout out to Josh Berg, magician extraordinaire, and leader in water balloon and parachute games-he had both toddlers, and adults, well entertained. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
Video Series: Should Latino be a race?
It is with great excitement that we share with you videos discussing proposed changes to count Latino as a race on the Census. This was taken from a presentation made at the UCLA Mixed Student Union student conference in April 2014. To make for easier viewing it has been divided into seven parts. You can “binge-watch” the whole thing or view it in chunks. Share the parts you find interesting with friends! Contribute to the conversation by commenting! We’re hoping you will find this informative and inspiring.
